I need to do some trailor work I mean alot of it so I need some good safe ideas on how to get my trihull off the trailor up on blocks or something so I can pull trailor out work on it for a couple of days then slide it back under..Im thinking of jacking up the back with a car jack then puting three carpeted blocks one in mid and one one each side, Then for the front hoisting it up with a cumalone sliding trailor out then puting two more carpeted blocks one on each side of the trihull..

Can ya chain the boat to a tree using the stern tie-downs, and pull the trailer out from under it a little at a time, supporting it with your blocks, or maybe old tires, as you go? Never tried it, just a thought. Guess you'll have to winch it back on.

Don’t suppose the trailer is the tilt type? If so your job just got a lot easier. Do as JT described but undo the tilt lock. The trailer will tilt up as the boat comes off and basically adjusting it’s self. I do it that way and support the boat onto old tires. You will need to service your winch and rollers, make sure you replace that dodgy old cable (?) with a new one cause if its gunna break it will break while you’re winching it back on. Simply do what you did to get it off but in reverse using the winch, have somebody sitting in the car and make sure your on level round, you may find at the start that the trailer and the car actually move back under the boat rather than the boat get dragged onto the trailer. Somebody in the car can be ready with the brake if need be but leave it off so the car and trailer can move as your winching it back on. Join a gym and work on those biceps, your gunna need em! If the trailer is not the tilt type than you need to try and keep the boat close to the same height as it is when it’s on the trailer. Mate of mine does it with his 4x4 which has an electric recovery winch and a trailer hitch on the front, makes it real easy. Good luck.

I would think the easiest way would to put the boat the water for a while.

(I know. I'm stating the obvious.) :)
