I just purchased a 19ft 1984 OB Rinker i/o with a 292 I-L 6, wanting to know if it is going to be enough power for pulling 2 adult tubers.

Thanks

Not sure if this helps...was tubing with two tubes behind a 16.5 ft lund tyee that had a 75 hp mariner with no problems. Was actually pulling one adult and 3 kids at the same time. Over 500 lbs. Pulling a tube is easy. This inboard info is greek to me though.

Keep your arrogant attitude. Don't need it here.
+ 1.

Over4now,

Sure, go out and try it, I bet it will work out fine. If it is a dog out of the hole, try a smaller prop or one with less pitch.

Yeah you should be able to pull the 2 tubers with 4-5 in the boat too. I don't know what the HP on a 292 but I assume it should be 170+ HP. So you should be able to pull two skiers out of the water. Just make sure the engine is in good condition as well as the outdrive and prop.

Been running a little 140 horse 3.0 for 30 years. raised my family skiing and tubing. Keep it in good shape and you have more than enough power to do whatever you want.
