Good morning everyone.

I tried to search for SF Bay Area related posts but can't find any. :( So sorry if this has been posted before.

I'm still in a search for a 24-26 footer express cruiser. But wanna check out how you guys with similar boats enjoy yours?

I'm in Hayward. Where to go on a one day trip? 2? 3 days?

I've been to Lake Berryessa for jet-ski & camping for so many years. And I think Coyote Lake in Gilroy. That's it. :)

Thanks

Nhi

Have you and the Mrs. done the Power Squadron or Coast Guard Auxiliary boater courses yet? If not, it would be a good idea to take them before you venture out in the 'new' boat.

Hi Ted.

Of course we will. But still have not landed a boat deal yet. Still on the looking :)

The Sacramento Delta. Loads of waterways to explore...

Also love Lake Don Pedro, and New Melones as a second inland choice...

I've been in Camanche Lake so many times for jetski already. Plan to go to other lake this summer. So I know we've got a whole bunch of lakes, which are at least 2:30-3 hrs from us (car drive), add at least 30 minutes when towing. The delta is closer to us, but not sure what people impression about touring it for sightseeing.

I drive by a couple of sections last couple of months while checking out boats to buy, and it doesn't look impressive at all. :) Hahaha. I mean, there's no tall trees and nice sceneries. Just bushes and narrow slough. Maybe I haven't been to the correct marina / sections of the nicer part of the Delta yet. Any good parts of the Delta I should try first?

Thanks again.
