I have a 120hp mercruiser. I just bought a new battery that is a combination of a starting battery and a deep cell battery. 875 marine cranking amps. Is this a good choice? Will the alternator charge it properly? I use a fish finder, marine radio, stereo, etc. while the motor is not running. Should I have two Batteries?

sounds like a good battery as for cranking amps i like to run the second battery for my radios and fishfinder and ect. and i bought one of the battery jumpers for back up when a battery goes dead it comes in handy and its portable <br />best of luck skipper
