Im headed over to Lake Latawana tomorrow for the prespawn of the crappie. Friend at work loaded up with some really nice slabs yesterday 14"-15". Cant wait. Then it's off to Truman on Sunday and Monday for the same. Anyone else getting in on the prespawn bite, in Missouri?

I too had the same luck hootowl had.
Caught 2 crappie & 3 small bass Sunday. Caught one very nice 14inch crappie on Monday.
Wasn't for lack of trying, fished everywhere they "should" of been. Just not biting.
I was more surprised I couldn't get a bluegill in either day. Would of thought I'd catch at least ONE bluegill.
I think the fish are still sleeping. ;)

It's ok though. I'll be back out this Sunday & Monday trying again :p

Just got in from Lake Latawana, crappie bite edged off a bit, cold front blew through, yet still managed 3 really nice slabs 13-15", and 3 average fish. Friend got 6 average fish. Also catch and release 4 bass, 2 of which were pound and half. Water temp between 53 and 56, depending on which cove we were in. Im just outside Warrensburg Nate.
