OK - so I close on my new to me boat tomorrow (1999 Carver Mariner 350). We are going to bring it from Dania Beach (near Ft. Lauderdale) to the Clearwater area. Any input, suggestions, or warnings? Anything special to see along the way? How long should we plan on? We will be staying on the boat at marinas along the way. I have a chartplotter, radar, Navionics on a tablet as a backup to the chartplotter, one fixed and one handheld VHF radio, all necessary USCG gear, and the current Dozier's Waterway Guide. Any and all input would be greatly appreciated!
