going big tonight

A co worker is a member of a sailing club here, he has asked me to go out on Lake Michigan (in the beak water anyway) with him tonight on a club boat. should be fun. a 23 footer, full keel, if weather is cooperative we may sneak out passed the breakwater.

hoping to learn my way around out there a bit so I can take my boat out later.

Used to love sailing on Lake St. Clair at night in a friends 24'. Really the lighter the wind the nicer sailing it tended to be too. Enjoy!

was a great night. winds were very light but that gave me a chance to bring the boat through the mooring field without too much concern. was great to see all the area for sailing out there and learning how to get out of the marina etc.
