GM Inline 4 or MCM ??

Can anyone tell me how to tell the difference based on casting numbers? The torques specs differ and i dont want to do this reassembly twice.. Thanks to Don S., I have determined that it is an 1984 140hp.. The block has a 7 digit casting number with no letters and it does have GM cast into the side but I am not sure if they made all the blocks and its there regardless. Thanks

the 3.0 is a GM industrial engine, not a MCM engine.. All the torque specs you need can be found up in the "adults only" section.
