gm flywheel

ok so i have a omc but the block is a gm motor so i know that i have the small crank and i need a flywheel so does anyone know what dia i need like 12 inch or 13? any info is better then no info... its a 1988 gm 305 v8

Ayuh,... Which diameter flywheel was used on the old motor, with that outdrive,..??

i dont know never had a flywheel or bell housing

Well,... How ya gonna marry the motor to the drive,..??

What drive is it,..??
Does it use a Coupler, or Flexplate,..??

Is the block drilled for straight across bolts for the starter,..??
Is the block drilled for staggered pattern bolts for the starter,..??

thanks bondo-o i already found the info i need is a 14 inch dia flywheel. i have the really small starter that bolts to the motor and the outdrive is a omc but i really done know much about boat and motor cuz i just got the boat

i cant find a flywheel that is 3 inch bolt to bolt a cross can i use a auto 305 flywheel????
