Update on Sea Doo oil tank leak: This is for the 2 piece Sea Doo oil tank that leaks at the seam after a few years. So far, the Gorilla Glue is holding. It's been 3 weeks, and there is no leak yet. The glue is discolored in a few spots, but no leakage. After reading ads for Elmers Extreme glue, it might be a better option.
Anyway, I sanded all the way around the oil tank with 80 grit paper, applied the gorilla glue in sections. Then sprayed water on the glue(needed to activate the glue, which causes it to foam up). I then covered it with plastic wrap to hold the water in, removing it after it sets. After going all the way around, I applied an adhesive called Seal All to the foamed up Gorilla Glue to seal up the pores in the foam. The Seal All by it's self didn't hold, but it does seem to help seal up the gorilla glue. I'll keep you posted if it starts to leak.
