Glastron Trailers

Well I bought a glastron boat the other day to get the trailer and dispose of the boat, but for the life of me I can't find the ID plate on the trailer, I know the trailer is a Glastron trailer as well because they used to make their own trailers for their various boats. I was wondering, does anyone have a Glastron trailer they could look at and take a picture or at least tell me where Glastron actually mounted their ID plates, or did they use those dumb stickers that always fall off or fade?

Thanks.

Glastron never built trailers. They outsourced them from a trailer manufacturer, who private labeled them. Call them (they are still in business) and give them the year of the boat and they can tell you who the original manufacturer was.

As a matter of fact I did that last year. I found the manufacturer, who in turn sent me the specs for my trailer, which by the way was custom made and non-cataloged.

Thanks Jim, but that is conflicting information from what I have received from the current Glastron company, this is a 1981 SSV-176 boat and from what they told me at that time, that Glastron was making their own trailers, like the current company claims to do.

I guess I have some more investigative work to do
