Glastron Sx175 aluminium Windscreen corrosion / oxidised - how to fix

Hi all,

My Glastron sx175 from the year 2003 has some I believe corrosion/salt watermarks on the windshield frame, I'm having trouble removing the marks and also trying to not damage the glass / plastic screen.
