Glastron GS249 - cheap hull?

Hi there.<br />Does anyone have an opinion on the hull of the glastron gs249?<br />I've heard that they can seem a litle soft?<br />The model I'm buying is a 1997.<br />Thanks - Mikkel.

Most everyone I know that owns a 'tron is happy, but all teh ones I know about are 21' or less. I know the glass on my two 1976 'trons is still solid.

I have the same baot, except for a 1999. no problems at all with the hull. Great boat on the ocean.

My '72 Glastron has been overpowered for the last 32 years...all the fiberglass is still good as new.

Mine seems fine. It's a 2003.<br /><br />Who told you the hull is soft and where did they come up with that bit of "information"?

I've had my 1997 GS249 for 3 years now. No problems.

I'm glad to know this too....I just bought a 1996 GS249. I was really impressed with the layout of the boat. I'm going to use it to cruise the Columbia River with my family in the Portland, Oregon area.
