where can I find a used or new gimbal ring for a 1976 mercruiser 255 hp? What would be a good price to pay for a used one?

My repair has held up (I broke an ear removing the front ram anchor pin that had been there for 24 years of slatwater use.<br /><br />What is wrong with yours? Did you try repairing it first?

Ralph<br /><br />I just bought this boat this week. The ring is cracked all the way through on the side, and another one on the bottom. Mechanic advised me that it could not be welded. opinion is former owner backed into something while it was on the trailer.
