Hey alldodge
I just purchased and installed this bearing last week haven't had it out yet but I can tell you the bearing isn't greasable. It has the hole in the outer ring but I believe that's as far as it goes ..
Can you clarify a bit more?

Merc went from greasable to sealed type a few years ago and this type is getting hard to find. I have 2 of them and when i sold my 95 Rinker it had the original bearing in it

If you don't have a grease fitting on your transom assembly then you should have installed a sealed bearing type. The greasable bearings come with a little grease in them but they need to be greased before use

I found out that a lot of times the ring has the hole for grease but the bearings are sealed. You can find out if you take the bearing out of the ring

I'm just going by the pic and part number listed, it shows the hole same as the ones I have

The hole is in the outer ring But once you install it into the transum and try to pump grease in there it is very hard and the grease starts coming out from the outer edge of the ring not the bearing the bearing itself is sealed

Couldn't find anything about the manufacturer... There are a million Chinese bearings on there, any reason to think these are good quality? I found a place when I was looking based in the us (still have it) that was sent by mistake. But I wanted a sealed unit. Don't remember the name off hand

RPS is a Korean company
The USA hasn't made much in the way of bearings for many years. Temkin, SKF and others while they still make bearings not many are done here

I look at it this way, that bearing once the drive is off takes maybe 30 minutes to remove and replace with proper tools. Easy job for the most part.

Hope your right.
The grease will squeeze out around the outside of the bearing if the hole is not aligned

I marked the face of the bearing and it lines up with hole at the grease nipple

Should I pull it and double check?

It says GLM for Manufacturer and RPS for brand

You can't pull and not damage the bearing because the puller applies all forces to the inner race. The installer applies forces to outer race

It's not going to just go out. Just use it
