I need a hobby! It's getting dark earlier and we will change time soon. What do all of you do when it's cold and dark outside and you just got home from work. Watching tv and messing around on the computer is getting old. I need something to keep me busy for a couple of hours. Oh, and we've got two kids so what you're thinking wouldn't work!

Crochet? Make nice pillows for the boat seats? The hooks are safer than knitting needles.

Buy a manky old outboard off ebay for a few dollars and rip it down in the workshop just for fun :D

Even better: rip it down on the kitchen table then take a course in Divorce Law

Get some maps and plan a trip to somewhere there is a real winter or use the time to figure out when California drops into the sea.
