getting some water from vent tube on top of valve cover

new to boating. Just had a reconditioned motor put in the boat as block and head on old motor no good. Motor is an OMC 3 litre engine. Possibly 1988. Now noticing that I am getting a small amount of water coming from the breather hose located on the top of the valve cover. I don't think this should be happening Can someone give me and idea as to what may be wrong.

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... My guess is yer seein' condensation,....

Run it alittle harder, alittle longer, 'n it'll steam off, 'n go away,...
