That boat should rip you out of the water! What pitch prop do you have? What's the rpm at WOT?

Re: Getting enough power

I am new at owning a boat have been around them all my life. So dont know that much about them as far as prop pitch and i am not sure what WOT is but i will look if you can help tell me what to look for. We had to pull the dist. to put a new rotor in so it could be a timing issue but not for sure. Thank You

Re: Getting enough power

when your done you tune up WOT is wide open throtel it will be about 4400 to 4800 hundred rpm you need to check the motor to be sure.
the motor needs to be able to reach full rpm to be able to plane your boat quickely or pop a skier out of the water.
if it cant make the correct WOT its like trying to drive your car in 3rd gear you will get there but it no fun and is hard as hell on the car

tommays
