i cant wait to get rid of the big boat and go back to fishing out of a small jon boat. The real reason I love boating - fishing in the quiet.

Yup, thinking used kayak or canoe, easy to put in truck bed and unload :)

Sitting in a quiet cove with a slight cool breeze flowing and the only sounds are nature and the occasional water plunk of the lure hitting the water sure sound tons better then any other scenario I can think of. Maybe with the exception of sitting in a deer stand watching nature is the only thing that can compete... I am not even a beach laying around type person. Give me a nice quiet lake or mountain scene and I am a happy camper all day long...

Man, that is my favorite. Been too long for me again. We haven't had the boat out in quite awhile. Dealing with busted stuff, neglected stuff and dirty stuff. And now when things are finally turning around, the weather isn't cooperating. Ugh.

But, we'll get back out there soon. And hopefully more frequently too! ;)

I can no longer fish alone.

But that was my usual method for decades. Going with a close friend or two was always a special treat. šŸŽ£ šŸ˜Ž
