I'm hoping someone can help me out. What is the best way to get a waverunner lift out of the water? I only have myself and brother-in-law. Do they sell wheel kits for these or do I need some kind of winch to get the thing out.

Any tips would be helpful.

Thanks

Are you wanting to remove a waverunner lift, or lift a waverunner out of the water? If you are wanting to remove a lift, what type of lift is it?

Sorry, no help, gator. I did some poking around, but didn't find anything. Are you sure you need to pull it for the winter? If so, try calling the manufacturer. Sorry I'm not of more assistance, I'm not really familiar with this type of hoist.

Re: getting a waverunner lift out of the water for the season

Mine is an 800# capacity aluminum lift. Two people can manuever it to shore, mines typically 15 -20 feet out. Once at shoreline (if only two people available) I use two 4X4's and get the front rail of the lift up and the two people push it along the 4 by's. At the end, I remove the 4 by's and put them ahead of the lift again and push. I'm able to go up and over a two foot high rock wall pretty easily. Any help??

it would be helpfull if we know if there is any sea wall or just a beach or grass between it and where you want it to be. if nothing is in the way why not use a rope and a vehicle to pull it out of the water and some pipe to roll it on. 2 in grey electrical pvc would probably be strong enough to roll it on have some one walk with it placing the pipes in front of it as it moves,
