gen 1 or gen 2 ???

I just bought a 1991 Maxum scr2500.
There are no markings on it at all, but it does have the old style gear lube bottle thu the vent hole. But it has clips on the trim rams and not nuts??

Any help?

Probably is a Gen II, no Alpha's prior to the Gen II used E clips on the trim rams.
1991 was also the first year of the Gen II.

Ayuh,... I'm guessin' Alpha 1....

The Gen.II will have visible bolts, holdin' the lower to the upper,...
Right behind the trim ram, where ya can't see in the picture....

Cute lil'n though,....

Like I said before, the Gen II drives are the only ones that used the E clips on the trim rams.
Your picture also is trimmed down, so you wouldn't see the bolts Bond-o is talking about. you need a picture showing the complete drive from the side, trimmed up and down.
