Gearcase Gasket Sealer 1963 75hp

Motor in signature. I know that I read a posting by Joe Reeves that described where to apply gasket sealer, but I can't find it now when I search.

Manual calls for sealer on the upper driveshaft bearing carrier gasket. Should it go on both sides of the gasket?

Also, should I apply sealer to the impeller plate gasket? Both sides? Should there be any sealer between the impeller plate and the housing?

I have both the Scotchweld 847 which substitutes for Sealer 1000 and I have the BRP Gasket Sealing Compound. Thanks.

omc gasket sealer on both sides of bearing carrier gasket, and water pump gasket.

Nothing between plate and pump housing

847 not used on anything you asked about
