im trying to locate a lower gear set for a 140hp omc cobra,circa 1989. ive only been able to find one so far , for a 14:26 ratio, can anyone tell me the ratio of a 140 cobra, and maybe a part no. for the gear set thanx
mickey1 If you mean the gears in the lower unit of the outdrive,they are not that rare,just expensive.Also they are the same as other Cobra engines.The gears in the upper drive have the different ratios,but I don't know the 3.0 liter numbers.<br />DHP
