Gear Oil for 1977 Electric Shift

Hey Fellow Mechanics

I know you guys have answered this before,but what kind of gear oil do I put in my outdrive? I am also replacing the ball gears as well as doing a resealing the outdrive. I am in the process of doing a waterpump. I need to know what gear oil goes into the intermediate housing.

The intermediate housing and upper gear case can use regular marine gear oil (typically 80 w90, I think). Your lower needs Type C for the electric shift.
