I bought a gear lube monitor for my new Alpha One Gen 2 drive and I am in search of a install manual. I cannot find one on the net and am wondering if anyone in iBoat land might have one in a .pdf form. I am particularly interested in the hookup of the sending unit to the engine alarm.

I don't think your going to find an install manual, about all there is, is the service manual. The manual will show locations and that's about it.

What engine? The alarm system on Mercruiser engines is 'switch to ground'. The lube bottle will have a float switch in it, just connect one lead from the switch to an engine ground and splice the other lead into either the water temperature alarm switch or the oil pressure alarm switch. The wire colour is tan/blue....

No, my Mercuiser dealer here just had the bottle, mounting bracket, and hose. I've had to machine the hose adapter for the upper gear case vent hole. Not to hard, made it out of a brass bolt with my lathe. Thanks for the wiring info!
