Gear Lube Change on Ford OMC 2.3L

I was changing the gear lube in my lower unit. I think I did it wrong. There is the drain plug at the bottom of the unit, which I used to fill from as well. Not realizing that the fill plug was the next one up in the middle. But I did open it let the air out and continue pumping till the lube hit the spot on the dip stick on top. Does anyone think I will run into problems?

Raise the drive up and down a couple of times to allow any trapped air bubbles out. Let the gear lube settle for a bit and check the oil level on the dip stick. If ok, run the engine for a couple of minutes on muffs, then let it settle again and recheck.
If level is still ok, you don't have an air trapped.
