1966 mercury 650 65hp. motor runs great BUT...fluid is milky white and is leaking slowly from around the prop. reading other threads i see it might just be fishing line around there. i'm changing the water pump and seals in that location in a few days. how hard will it be to change the seal behind the prop? will i need professional help for that? have to take it off and take a look. any suggestions greatly appreciated.
that's cool, you're right. i've read the seloc and i need help. my cousin gave me the number of a marine mechanic who does side jobs. he'll help me. he makes good cash, i save a lot of money and learn a lot. win win! thanks again for the imput.
