Gauges on display appear broken but ski runs great - OK to continue to ride it?

I have a 1995 Yamaha Wave Venture 700 with about 175 hours. Had it for 15 of those years.
The Gauge or Meter Assembly appears to be messed up. Looks like a LCD style gauge and I'm getting a small quarter round moon all darken at the bottom of the gauge. The Oil and Fuel levels seem messed up. Got an over heating indicator and the oil indicator warning is covered over by the half moon darkening at the bottom. The engine seems to run the same as always. I know I have oil and gas. You can't read the levels but everything else seems OK. Anyone know of a reason I can't just keep riding the ski?
2nd question - Do you think it's just the display gone bad? If I can find another one cheap enough would just removing the old and installing the new do the trick? It's part number GH3-6820A-40-00 and new these things online are about $550 so I'm looking for a used one cheap as it's a pretty old ski and I really don't want to dump a bunch of money into it.

Thanks

Hi,
I have the gauge that you search for. Do you still need it?
