i've bought gauges from GreatLakesSkipper.com they have individual and complete sets. I believe a lot of descriptions said "came from Bayliner" directly. check it out.

Why are you stuck on Bayliner gauges when Faria and Teleflex made them in the first place and the OEM gauges from GLS are dirt cheap in comparison. Other than the Bayliner logo they are identical to any other gauge. If you are trying to keep the boat 100% original for some reason I can see your reasoning -- but otherwise it is simple dollars and cents and forget the logo. Unless there is something special about this boat, a new buyer would likely care less about the presence or absence of the Bayliner logo.

actually there is no Bayliner logo on the gauges, i rather save money if i do not have to splice these guages in to place! the current gauges are US Marine and if there is any other gauges out there that fit without me having to splice wires then i am all for it especially if the price is reasonable thanks again. with all that written do you have a guage that fits perfectly in the bayliner capri without any splicing of the connector?

Ah ha -- the plot thickens. So now you are looking for the entire instrument panel are we not? That you will not likely find. But that should not stop you from buying any complete instrument panel that has the gauges you need. The connections on the back are quite generic. If you have no electrical knowledge, then this is not a job for you. You simply remove the connections from one gauge at a time, remove it, insert the new one and reconnect the wires. What you do need to do is stick your head under the console and see if the wires are secured to the gauges with nuts or if each gauge has a separate connector. I'm betting they are very standard hex nut connections in which case you can buy individual gauges or an entire set from any source (right here on iBoats, Cabelas, Bass Pro, and my personal favorite, Great Lakes Skipper.). Here is just one example and you can't beat this deal with a club.

Re: Gauges/Fuel/Volts/Temp/Tach/Speedometer

Thanks for the help but if you go to the first thread in this post this is what it reads! Btw i am very knowledgeble with plug and play lol but this is what i wrote read on----->>>>>>Hello Gents and Ladies of course, I am looking for gauges for my bayliner capri caddy cabin and i can't seem to find them no where! i am looking for the same ( original Gauges ) that came with the boats, i have purchased some gauges that fit the opening on the dash but do not fit the connection on the switch behind the gauges! can some one direct me to a link or somewhere that i could find these monsters? again its a 1992 caddy cabin/ 3.0L/alpha 1 2nd gen outdrive.

now tell me that all fittings are the same ? the harness for each gauge on my boat is a plastic fitting that rides right on to the gauge! now like i said before i purchase gauges for this purpose and the harness did not fit on to the new gauges, my problem is i don't want to break the harness and start soldering this together! do you got me now..lol dam i'm sea sick lol...

Sorry to upset you. A picture of your instrument panel would help us understand what type of gauges you have. There is no way everyone on this forum can know every aspect of every boat. I tried to help you with the limited information we had to work with. Good luck with your search. My suggestion still stands and use of generic gauges means whatever work you do now will save you time the next time you need to replace a gauge.

Re: Gauges/Fuel/Volts/Temp/Tach/Speedometer

.
When my tach started acting up I decided to replace all of the gauges in my Ranger with a better looking set. All the gauges had plug-in connectors that I was reluctant to cut off, but turned out to be no big deal and I?m glad I did it. Just crimped on #8 Ring Terminals for power and signal leads and 1/4? Female Tab Terminals for light connectors. Then you?re not limited to any certain gauge set. Lots of styles available that are better looking than OEM.
