1992 J100STLND. I'm reinstalling the trim tab and noticed that the factory manual calls for gasket sealing compound on the bolt that holds it in. As far as I can tell, the tapped hole is blind on the end-- any idea why / if I really need to go pick up some gasket sealing compound for this?
