gas vs diesal gen set

have a 35 ft bertram with twin 3208 cats/ no generator. what are the pros and cons of putting in gas generator instead of diesal. have come across a good deal on gas unit

tommy,<br /><br />Gas will require a seperate fuel system. Not to mention the additional risk of fire due to gasoline vapors.

Don't do it!

I believe it's illegal, in the US anyways.

Diesel = non spark protected parts, Gas = spark protected parts.

Put a gas engine next to a diesel, crank diesel = KaBoom

Dude, like wow, four year old thread . . . I am guessing he either:

a) Made his decision already, and

b) If he made the wrong decision, blowed himself up . . .
