Gas vapor separator seal evinrude

7There is gas leaking from the gas vapor separator on my 1992 150 evinrude outboard - bought the seal but not sure if I should attempt replacement of seal myself- it appears it consists of removing gas hoses then about 6 screws but don't want to open a can of worms I have basic mechanic skills - what say you?

Just be careful when reinstalling the screws. Turn them backwards until you feel them seat and then tighten them down. You are screwing metal screws into a plastic housing
