gas tank float help

Is there a place to get replacement floats for gas tanks? This is for a 12gallon tank with built-in fuel gauge. It looks like the float is in bad condition as it will say empty after using a couple of gallons. I think it's like the moeller 12gallon kind of like here.

I changed my elcric over to the mechanical type...my electrical always lied to me...lol....and the float was good....maybe the Ethanol have something to do with it don't know..but now i know what I have for gas

i don't think those replacement units are gonna be under $10

I have a scepter and the tank reads empty no matter how much gas is in it. I removed the float ( a little round, hard, white plastic thing) and hung it in my shop for a month to de-tox (dry out). It has worked great for the last month and I plan on removing it from the tank every winter from now on. Best of luck. Rick.
