I have a 1991 Yamaha pro V 150, gas bubbles up from bottm carb from a small brass colored tube and drips into my bottom cover,is my float stuck? Do I have to have it rebuilt? Any thing I can try?Can I rebuild it a home? My dealer is over 100 miles away.

You have to rebuild your carbs. Yes you can do it yourself IF you have a manual. You can buy these kits online at numerous part places. Do a search for rebuilding carbs and you will find valuable info from very experienced folks on this subject. Do it before you use your rig again, you don't want any kind of fire on a boat.

Dutch

from what you say chances are being that if its only dripping out then your needle and seat are worn and letting a small amount of fuel through when the float is up - the level rises too high and drips out through the overflow. yes you will need to replace them (should come with the rebuild kit) and carb rebuilds are fairly straight forward if you remember how you took it apart. good luck.
