Hi guys. I looked and could not find the answer to my question. What is the fuel/ oil ratio on a 1992 Nissan 70 H.P. motor? I am not familiar at all with this motor really. I just bought it today on a Smoker Craft 16 ft boat, and will be picking it up on Friday of this week. Need to know how much oil I have to put in for a tank of gas. I don't know what size tank it is either, but I am assuming 15 or so. I will know when I fill her up. Thanks!

Depending on the exact model, it may have an automatic oil mix system,

Check if it's an autolube model, has an interior oil tank under upper cowl or a pre mix model in which case it's 80 ML per each 3.75 Lt gallon. Original portable tanks are good for 6 gallons.

UPDATE: Thanks guys. I got the boat and the motor, and I got an owner's manual with it. The manual indicates a 50 to 1 ratio. The motor is not a 1992 like the previous owner told me, but it is a 1991. He did mention this to me before I paid him off in case I wanted to change my mind, which I did not. The motor is "showroom" new. The owner told me that he does not know how many hours are on it, but he can guarantee me that there is less than 100 hours on it, and it really does look like it. The tank is a built in tank under the floor in the boat and I do not know how big it is.

Thanks again for all the replies to try to help me out. It is appreciated by me.
