gas/oil mix

This may seem like a simple question, but I bought a used 6hp Suzuki Outboard without a owners manual. I was wondering if there is a standard gas/oil mix rate for this size motor, or if I have to be manufacturer specific. Also, if my mix is not to the T. Would that cause performance problems? Thanks for any help!

A 2002 6 hp Suzuki takes a 100:1 premix.

Generally speaking oil mix wont effect performance<br />but not enough oil will ruin the motor.
