Hey all
I just got a 1990 Mercury 8hp of Craigslist. I'm out on the water with it on the back of my 2017 14' pb. Planes nicely at about 10mph and fastest it will go is about 15mph. It does not appear to be too heavy on the stern and it doesn't noticeably flex the transom either when under power.
