gas mileage on a 87 johnson 155hp ?

i was just wondering if a 1987 johnson 155hp v6 is a pig on gas or what compared to like a 120 v4 johnson . thanks

Just as a rule of thumb, your gas consumption per hour will be about 10% of the rated horsepower of the engine. In other words a 100hp. engine will use about 10 gph of fuel, 200hp will use about 20 gph.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty
