Gas mileage boat vs pwc

I have a 3.0 merc 17 ft boat and am considering a 632cc pwc is the gas mileage going to be alot better on the pwc then the boat.Im just riding both nothing crazy

Small PWC usually burn 5-6 gph at WOT. Maybe 3-4 cruising.
