ok heres the issue...my gas guage on my dashboard does not work however my gas tank is under the deck and has a cover that i can take off which isnt too hard to do but can be a pain...would it be worth it to put in a working gas guage and is it difficult to do? and what exactly do i have to do to put the new guage in and get it working?

Re: gas guage

Not that difficult. Most of the time its the sender in the tank. Jump the 2 wires at the tank together and see if the gauge pegs out.
Teleflex makes universal senders that are pretty easy to install. You need to know the depth of the tank. That is easy once the sender is removed.
You also need to check the back of the gauge with a test light to see if its getting power with the switch on.
