gas gauge???

My gas gauge does not work. Is this something that can be fixed without getting into the gas tank? The tank is on the bow of my 1968 Mark Twain I/O. It looks to be about a 15 to 20 gallon metal tank. Any ideas on this?

Check your ground and electrical connections, at the fuel take sensor and the guage, for corrosion. Those steps fixed mine....<br /><br />Bill
