Gas gauge on Attwood?

Can I add a sending unit and a dashboard gas gauge on a 12 gallon attwood gas tank?

Portable (red) gas tanks are usually not configured for an electric fuel gauge sender. Permanent mount gas tanks are usually equipped with one.

However, years ago a friend of mine put fuel gauge senders on his 3 6 gal metal Evinrude tanks. Not sure it was legal.

your boat has nothing to do with the brand of fuel tank or a gauge on the dash.

however personally, adding a gauge sender to a portable fuel is a waste of money. the tank itself has a gauge on it
