Gas coming out of the carb

motor been sitting up for about a year and i started it up and gas is pouring out of the overflow. Could it be a stuck float??

sounds like it might be a stuck float like you said. Probably be to go ahead and rebuild it, sitting like that is never good on the rubbers.

You can also just tap the carb that is overflowing around the bowl, then start it back up and see if it stops overflowing. You probably do need to rebuild the carb though, because if it keeps up, that cylinder won't run right and you will lose alot of power.
