I use a GPSMAP 2008 as backup.
Bought mine new, but those units were discontinued and went unsupported @ 20 years ago.
Requires an external, serial gps antenna or a NMEA 2000 network antenna to function.
The power cable can be purchased from any Garmin dealer.
Having said that, it’s been a good unit which is still in use today.
