After finishing all the gift's i picked up a garmin 172 gps/plotter for myself, i really dont even need a divice that's this complex and feature laden but the price was right for what it offered.
Needless to say it was a impulse buy, not to much research was done so i would like to ask, do i need to down load a bunch of maps, or get there memory card?
I will probably only use it for trip's up to the San Juan's, rarely do i go farther than 3-5 mile's off the coast. This was really not planned i dont even know if it has map's preloaded...................
The sale's person was new and a little despondent guess i just felt he needed a little fast start for that day so i told him wrap it up.......:}
