gap on certain spark plugs??? HELP NEEDED

I need to know the gap on champion j6c and NGK B6S. I need to know in order to fix a problem with my motor. thanks in advance

Most applications using a J6J gapped at .035". I don't know about the NGK plug.

Plug setting depends on the application.

You are absolutely right but most outboards with points used .020 on the points and .035 on the plugs. There may be minor variations but I've never seen one that would not run (and run well) at .035.
