Ganaoque to Toronto

Hi fellow boaters, I am bringing my "new to me" 32 carver from gananoque to Toronto....however i am fairly new to boating and am having trouble figuring out a route...any suggestions would be appreciated....has anyone made this trip? Do i stay close to shore as poosible, travel the Murry Canal ? any help please....thanks in advance.....

I'd stay a bit closer to shore. Make sure you have ALL of the Charts from Ganaoque to the big smoke. Figure out a route that avoids any shoals and keep an eye on the fuel guage and know where there are marinas if and when you need to refuel. Also, make sure you have a marine radio that works in case you get into any trouble. Good luck. If you are doing the cruise this weekend, the weather should be really nice for you.

Yeah i was charting it out and not sure if it is better to go south of Prince Edward or stay north through the canals and enter L.Ontario through Murry Canal...it looks like it may be longer but i have no idea...anyone have any thoughts? i think the goal is Cobourg the first day and toronto the next...
