Gamefisher/Tanaka 1.75hp won't run slow

I bought a used Sears Gamefisher 1.75hp awhile back. Never ran it till today. I put fresh fuel in with a 50:1 oil mix, using oil for air cooled engines.
Started on the second pull, runs well except I cannot get it to slow down to an idle where the centrifugal clutch for the prop drive disengages, running probably at half throttle. I only see one adjustment screw on the carb. Tried it but seems more of a fuel needle valve. Cable from the handle goes into a plastic cap on top of the carb, don't see any real adjustment here. Cable does seem to move well within its' cover.
Any suggestions?
Thank you, Bill

Got my answer from Robert Graham, on the Tohatsu/Nissan forum. Turn out that the small screw I saw on the carb side, actually adjusts the idle speed. Motor runs pretty well, happy with it.
