95' GF (Merc) 9.9hp
Was out on the water and motor started to overheat, with just steam coming from water exhaust port.
Changed impeller, with new gasket kit for lower end.
Reversed flushed and water comes through.
Now still get the same problem, I can start motor and get a decent stream through port but after motor warms up, stream will start to taper off until it is just steam.
Previous owner removed thermostat, I have had motor out a couple of times with no problems.
Anyone know what the problem is and whether I should have the thermostat replaced?
