Game fisher 7.5hp fuel question

Goto page 7 of the manual and read under fuel system carb. Make sure your high speed jet is open 1 full turn from bottom out

Definitely no gas to the carb. It will flow to the carb using the petcock but the bowl is empty every time i open up the carb

I just went and tore the carb down and re rebuilt it. Absolutely no gas in it what so ever. I blew air through everything and no clogs.

Ok. I just learned that the external tank port is supposed to have a check ball to prevent gas from leaking out of it. The ball must be stuck open. I will look at it tomorrow.

Got it going. Just had to adjust the float and then replace the gasket under the single bolt holding the bowl on. Good to go

So now that it is running i will go ahead and change the lower unit oil. When i have it in gear at make throttle it bounces like it has a rev limiter. At input? I don't think it does. Maybe its just emptying the carb bowl. It runs good up to wot
